An ongoing series of hyper-local networking nights, gathering local artists, presenters and stakeholders from across Queensland — one community at a time.

Sometimes, you just need to talk it out in a room.

Timed to coincide with a local arts festival in the region, Gather Rounds invite artists, producers, presenters, community leaders, local government, and other stakeholders to share a drink on us.

Over an evening of laid-back networking, Gather Rounds are about dropping the formalities to help foster relationships within the community, and spark conversations that can drive projects forward.

Whether you're seeking advice, happy to share your experience, or just looking to catch up with peers, Gather Rounds encourage everyone from makers to audiences to exchange ideas, share challenges, and celebrate successes — both with each other and the QTouring team.

Celebrate the return of the iconic Horizon Festival with QTouring’s ‘Gather Round’, a hyper-local networking night designed for artists, producers, and presenters from the Sunshine Coast and surrounds.

Taking place at the historic Old Ambulance Station in Nambour, this laid-back evening is all about fostering connections and sparking creative collaborations.

The first Gather Round of 2025 coincides with Horizon Festival, a 10-day multi-arts celebration showcasing the Sunshine Coast’s creative heartbeat. With recognition of the Kabi Kabi Peoples and Jinibara Peoples, the festival celebrates place, with programming that reflects the wide range of events.

With the QTouring team in attendance, we are keen to hear from you — we want to discuss the challenges and opportunities you face touring beyond the region, and vice versa, bringing touring work into your region.

So come along, grab that person you’ve always wanted to speak to and say g’day. Afterwards, kick-on with us to experience some of Horizon Festival’s vibrant offerings - a special discounted rate can be accessed by guests to attend Hold Me Closer Tony Danza in the Black Box Theatre following Gather Round.
