QTouring Launches Digital Resource Hub
QTouring, Queensland’s new arts touring and engagement service, has launched an innovative digital resource hub to expand touring opportunities across the state.
11/02/2025
Managed by Stage Queensland and supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, the new platform connects artists, producers, and presenters, providing a streamlined gateway to touring experiences throughout the state.
The QTouring resource hub offers valuable opportunities for artists to showcase their work through a comprehensive directory. Producers can register and submit touring-ready productions, making local talent easily accessible to presenters seeking fresh, high-quality Queensland arts experiences. Each profile provides detailed information, including credits, touring party details, technical specifications, pricing, media galleries, press coverage, and contact details. This extensive resource empowers presenters to explore potential collaborations with confidence, unlocking opportunities for performances in diverse venues across Queensland.
Additionally, presenters and venues can list their programming priorities, production capabilities, and theatre specifications on the platform, which fosters the development of new, sustainable touring circuits. This expands Queensland’s touring network and helps artists perform in new venues, enriching the state’s cultural landscape.
“The launch of the QTouring resource hub marks a significant step in supporting the state’s arts sector. It’s a platform that not only helps artists get their work seen but also assists presenters in finding the right works for their audiences, ultimately enriching Queensland’s cultural offerings.”

Stage Queensland President
QTouring's digital resource hub goes beyond simply connecting artists and presenters. It offers a suite of tools and resources designed to support producers to effectively plan, execute, and report on tours. These tools include guidance on logistics, marketing, and financial management, supporting successful touring ventures. Additionally, the hub serves as a community noticeboard, regularly posting information about upcoming initiatives such as networking events, skill development workshops, tour brokerage opportunities, and showcases.
“The website hub and directory are a direct response to the sector's need for a central service that builds capacity for touring Queensland's arts. We hope to see a flurry of activity, with producers entering their work on the site and venues checking out what’s available for their community”
Angela Chaplin OAM
QTouring’s Director
QTouring’s digital resource hub is more than just a platform; it is a catalyst for growth and collaboration in Queensland’s performing arts sector. By bridging the gap between artists and presenters, it creates new pathways for artistic expression, enhances cultural exchange, and boosts the visibility of Queensland’s talent on the touring circuit.
