QTouring is set to empower artists to take their work on the road while supporting local communities in organizing performances and engagement activities. This initiative builds on the legacy of Queensland’s previous touring programs, adding new tools and resources aimed at making touring easier and more effective.

The service’s upcoming digital platform will include artist profiles, offering communities insight into productions ready for touring and engagement opportunities available for towns throughout Queensland. QTouring also aims to extend its services with venue profiles and updated resources to facilitate deeper connections between artists and audiences.

Brad Rush, President of Stage Queensland, expressed his excitement about the new service:
"On behalf of the Stage Queensland Board and membership, we are thrilled to partner with Arts Queensland in delivering QTouring. Touring is in our DNA, and this initiative allows us to explore innovative ways of bringing the arts to every corner of the state."
